Know-Your-Customer (KYC) Policy
Last updated: 9 July 2026
Ze Broker is a trading name operated by Atlantis Corporates, 88-90 Hatton Garden, London, Holborn, EC1N 8PG, United Kingdom (the “Company”). To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations and to protect our customers and the integrity of the Platform, the Company verifies the identity of every customer through a Know-Your-Customer (KYC) process. This Policy operates together with our AML Policy.
1. Purpose
KYC helps prevent fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, market abuse and identity theft, and is a legal requirement for regulated financial activity. It also enables us to understand our customers and to apply a risk-based approach.
2. Legal Basis
We process KYC data to comply with our legal obligations, to perform our contract with you, and in our legitimate interests in preventing financial crime, as described in our Privacy Policy.
3. When We Verify
We verify identity at onboarding, before access to core Services, when limits are increased, when we detect unusual activity, and periodically as part of ongoing monitoring.
4. Information and Documents We Collect
- Full legal name, date of birth, nationality and residential address;
- A valid government-issued photographic identity document, such as a passport, national identity card or driving licence;
- Proof of residential address, such as a recent utility bill or bank statement, where required;
- A live selfie or biometric liveness check to confirm that the identity document belongs to you;
- Source-of-funds and source-of-wealth information where required by our risk-based approach;
- For corporate customers, incorporation documents, ownership and control information, and identification of directors and beneficial owners.
5. Verification Methods
We may verify your identity using electronic verification, document authentication, biometric checks, database and sanctions screening, and other reliable and independent sources, including third-party verification providers.
6. Verification Levels and Limits
Access to deposits, trading, conversions and withdrawal limits may depend on the level of verification you have completed. Higher limits and additional Services require more complete verification, and we may require re-verification to maintain access.
7. Ongoing Monitoring and Re-Verification
We conduct ongoing monitoring and may re-verify your identity or request updated or additional documents at any time, including where your activity, risk profile or circumstances change, or where required by Applicable Law.
8. Sanctions and PEPs
We screen customers against applicable sanctions lists and for politically-exposed-person status, and we apply enhanced due diligence, or decline or terminate relationships, as required.
9. Refusal, Suspension and Termination
We may refuse to onboard, or may suspend, restrict or terminate, any customer or Service where verification cannot be completed, where information or documents appear inaccurate, incomplete or fraudulent, where a customer is a Restricted Person, or where required by Applicable Law.
10. Data Protection and Retention
Personal data collected for KYC purposes is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and is retained for at least five (5) years following the end of the business relationship, as required by applicable anti-money-laundering law.
